The band is also inviting people to send them vocal samples for a song on the album called ‘Return To Bicameralism’. Details of this crowd-sourced project are on a special Facebook page

The content should be original (written and voiced by you). It should be an mp3 that shouldn’t exceed 30 seconds in length. Kindly also mention this one line when you mail it – “I allow Split to use this content and promise not to fuck them over later.
We had a chat with the band’s rhythm guitarist, Melroy D’Mello, about how and why this idea came about
Aviv (lead guitarist) came up with the idea a while ago. The idea was to write a new song using just the samples from people but it didn’t really work out when we tried it. So we decided to try it again this time with ‘Return to Bicameralism’, where there is a 30-second interlude in which we want to use the samples. We wanted to do more than just have the five of us and the producer make this album, we wanted to get more out of people who like Split.
More from Split soon. In the mean time, check out some of Split’s music below.
